A former Guns N’ Roses member has spoken recently about the upcoming reunion. Guitarist DJ Ashba recently spoke about the line up for the Guns N’ Roses reunion.
Ashba said that he hopes Steven Adler and Izzy Stradlin will join the band’s upcoming reunion, as well as early members Matt Sorum and Gilby Clarke.
DJ Ashba joined the band in 2009 and played with them for six years until announcing his departure in July 2015 to focus on his own band Sixx:A.M. He spoke about the upcoming Guns N’ Roses reunion during a recent Q&A on his band’s Facebook page.
Ashba said “I love it for the fans. However, I hope they bring in Steven [Adler], Izzy [Stradlin] and even Matt [Sorum] and Gilby [Clarke]!” So far the classic Guns N’ Roses line up for the reunion includes Axl Rose, Slash & Duff Mckagan.
Upon leaving the band in July 2015 Ashba wrote on his Facebook page saying “It is with a very heavy heart and yet great pride that I announce that I’ve decided to close this chapter of my life and encapsulate the wonderful times that I’ve shared with Guns N’Roses into fond memories”.
