An Exhibition Of Hope Took Place In Dublin And It Was Incredible

In an effort to celebrate the annual Darkness Into Light fundraising campaign, Pieta House offered its Manifesto as inspiration for top artists Joe Caslin, Conor Merriman, Aches and more to create the Response Series exhibition in Dublin.

The 'exhibition of hope' was held to raise awareness for suicide and self-harm as the collection of work highlighted the importance of recognising that suicide and self-harm affects everyone.

Darkness Into Light – Pieta House's flagship fundraising awareness event –  takes place on May 12th in over 170 venues in Ireland and across the world. Now in its tenth year, the event encourages the nation to wake up and tackle the reality of suicide and self-harm in Ireland. Last year, the 180,000 people who walked from Darkness Into Light helped to raise a massive €4.7 million for the charity.

And last week these powerful creations were exhibited in Thinkhouse, Fumbally Lane, Dublin on Thursday, April 26th to coincide with the fundraising campaign...
