People around the world are confused after packets of seeds have been sent to their homes from an unknown sender.
The Department of Agriculture says people in Ireland are receiving the seeds from someone outside the EU.
The same trend has been happening in the US and UK in recent days, with packets including mustard, cabbage and lavender seeds being delivered to homes.

The motive behind the trend is not clear, and the advice is not to plant them as they may pose a risk to the environment.
