A Fianna Fail Senator is calling on the person involved in a fatal hit and run in Dublin overnight to turn themselves over to Gardaí.
The incident took place on the Rathbeale Rd in Swords at 1:30am. A male pedestrian in his 30s, was struck by a dark saloon car. The pedestrian was then pronounced dead.
After failing to remain at the scene, the driver then made off toward Ashbourne. Senator Lorainne Clifford-Lee says they should think of the family and come forward.
