Earlier this week it was The Beatles cast unveiled and now CinemaCon has also got the first look at a trailer for the new Bruce Springsteen film!
Directed by Scott Cooper, "Deliver Me From Nowhere" is based on author Warren Zanes’ book, which follows The Boss as he makes his 1982 solo record Nebraska.
"Incredible, challenging and a dream come true," Jeremy Allen White, from The Bear, said of becoming Springsteen for the film. "And I feel really lucky we all had Bruce’s blessing on this film. It’s the story of a very particular moment in Bruce’s life when he was trying to reconcile the pressure of success and the ghosts of his past,” he added.

The trailer cut exclusively for the theatre owners opened with White as Springsteen on a New Jersey car lot, test driving a Chevy 305. “I know who you are,” the dealer tells him, leaning into the window. White’s Springsteen smiles and says, “That makes one of us.”
Tony and Golden Globe winning actor Jeremy Strong plays Springsteen's manager Jon Landau, and in the footage said, “When Bruce was little, he had a hole in the floor of his bedroom. A floor that's supposed to be solid? He’s supposed to be able to stand on, Bruce didn’t have that. Bruce is a repairman. What he’s doing with this album is, he’s repairing that hole in his floor. Repairing that hole in himself. Once he’s done that, he’s going to repair the entire world.”
The first look at the film also showed Springsteen father, played by “Adolescence” star and co-creator Stephen Graham and ended with a live performance of Springsteen’s most iconic song, “Born to Run.”
Springsteen has said he liked what he saw when visiting the set and watching White play him. "Jeremy is such a terrific actor" and he can "sing well," Springsteen said in December on SiriusXM’s E Street Radio. White has "an interpretation of me that I think the fans will deeply recognize, and he’s just done a great job."
20th Century Studios will release “Deliver Me From Nowhere” in late 2025.
