Four men in their twenties and one teenager remain in custody this afternoon, in relation to a shooting in Dublin which took place last month.
A teenage boy was treated for serious injuries after receiving a number of gunshot wounds on Eugene Street on February 24th.
The five suspects were arrested this morning following a number of search and are being held in Garda stations across Dublin.
The teenager was getting into a taxi when a number of men approached him and opened fire, in what gardaí believe was a pre-planned and targeted attack.
While the victim has survived the shooting there were grave concerns for his life after he received a number of gunshot wounds, including a wound in the neck.
