Foals & Bloc Party are just some of the names recently confirmed for the BBC Radio 6 Music Festival. Other acts already announced include Savages and Everything, Everything.
The festival will take place in Bristol this year and it will see the BBC station broadcast gigs from venues including the Colston Hall, O2 Academy and Trinity between February 12th-14th.
Primal Scream, Yeasayer, Roots Manuva, Savages, !!! (chk chk chk) and Blossoms will be kicking the festival off on February 12th at Motion. The venue will later host Suede, Daughter, Roisin Murphy, Tricky, Steve Mason, Field Music and C Duncan the following day.
The festival will finish up on the Sunday (February 14th) with Foals, Everything Everything, Beirut, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, POLIÇA, Kurt Vile and The Invisible all playing at Motion.
Indie-folk singer Laura Marling will play an all-day event at Colston Hall with the likes of John Grant, Elbow’s Guy Garvey, Julia Holter, The Blue Aeroplanes, Rozi Plain, This Is The Kit and The Moonlandingz. Bloc Party on the other hand will be playing at the O2 Academy with the likes of Buzzcocks and Hooton Tennis Club.
