On Sunday night, Foo Fighters performed 10 songs during a live-streamed post Super Bowl performance. The show marked the first time the band performed in a Virtual Reality environment.
“Foo Fighters love a challenge – from playing the biggest stages in the world to the tiniest clubs to making movies and miniseries… We’ve pretty much done it all,” frontman Dave Grohl said prior to the VR show. “But we’ve never collaborated with Mark Romanek on a conceptual set of songs – including one being played live for the first time ever – for a worldwide audience.”
That live debut was the track T-Shirt from album Concrete and Gold, which opened the set. Other tracks performed included Home, This Is A Call, Best Of You, Times Like These and All My Life.
