Dave Grohl and co launched the Foo Fighters’ latest U.S. tour on Wednesday 18th April in Austin, Texas. The Foo’s have asked fans up on stage before but unbeknownst to the band they had brought a shredder up to the stage! They called on the Kiss fan in full makeup from the audience to the stage to blast out their rock classic. Grohl said to the speechless fan, who he called ‘Kiss Guy’, ‘You ever done this before? It’s really fine,’ Handing him his guitar, Grohl then spoke to the crowd, ‘He brought his own fu**ing pick!’
As the band broke into the song, Grohl appeared to be the one making the mistakes! He forgot the lyrics after ‘Kiss Guy’ blew him away with a wicked guitar solo. Grohl spent most of the song exchanging expressions of amazement with his bandmates, the frontman finished the guest appearance with an astonished, ‘Holy shit!’
