Former footballer Eric Cantona stunned punters at a local pub in Dublin, by turning up at the premises earlier this week.
Manchester United legend Cantona visited The Celt along Talbot Street ahead of his show at Liberty Hall yesterday evening. The Frenchman is in the middle of his 'Cantona Sings Eric' tour.
He released his debut LP 'I'll Make My Own Heaven' last October.
Ahead of his show last night, Eric Cantona stunned locals at the pub, posing with a number of punters for photos.
"Eric Cantona legend from Manchester United in The Celt!", The Celt wrote on social media. Another added, "Eric Cantona in the house".
Other photos also showed the ex footballer sign a Man United jersey for a thrilled fan.
Speaking about his music career last October, Eric Cantona even suggested that The Rolling Stones could support him on stage.
When speaking to reporters about what artists he would consider opening for as a support act, while noting that he was “just starting out”, Cantona replied, “I do not understand what you mean”.
After the interviewer tried to “explain musical hierarchy” to him, Cantona in true Cantona fashion added, “No. I am a headliner. It’s why I cannot understand you. Maybe The [Rolling] Stones can support me”.
