Former comrades Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood are working together again, according to reports.
This news was broken by Carl Falk, a Swedish songwriter and producer, who is reportedly working on a new solo album from Fleetwood, which would be his first record since Mick Fleetwood Band's Something Big in 2004.
Taking to social media last month, Falk shared a photo of Fleetwood and Buckingham working together in a studio.
Adding this message, Falk wrote: "Slightly unreal moment to sit with Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood to play Lindsey the album we have been working on. And to see his genuine happiness for Mick to finally do his own album and offering to play guitar and to sing on it. Can’t wait to finish this one".
Now, Falk has added further photos of these recording sessions, along with this caption.
"Mick and Lindsey together again, what a flawless guitar player", he wrote. Such photos included one with Fleetwood and The War On Drugs' frontman, Adam Granduciel. Another photo shows Falk and Fleetwood playing music in the studio.
Speaking last month, Mick Fleetwood stated that he wanted former bandmates and partners Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham to "pal up a bit more".
Having returned to Fleetwood Mac in 1997 following his departure 10 years earlier, Lindsey Buckingham was fired from the band in 2018, following a breakdown in the working relationship between Nicks and Buckingham. More on this from Nova here.
