Andy Taylor has claimed that his bodyguards “beat the s*** out of” Vince Neil of Motley Crue.
The former Duran Duran guitarist said that they did this when the Motley Crue frontman allegedly tried to start a fight with him.
This is not the first time that these two musicians have butted heads in the media, with Vince Neill previously hitting back at comments made by Taylor about Motley Crue travelling on different tour busses in a 2005 interview.
“I read this thing where those fuckheads in Duran Duran were like, ‘We all travel together and that’s the only way to tour and it just shows how f***** up Motley Crue is,’” Neil said at the time. “I was like, ‘Who the f*** are you to tell us how f***** up we are!’”.
Taylor On Meeting Neil
Recently speaking, Andy Taylor did not specify about when or where this incident with Neil took place, but did reveal that he had encountered the Motley Crue frontman, while he was flanked by “some f****** biker dudes”.
“I never had the weird, pervy, f*****-up experiences that a lot of people talk about,” the Taylor explained.
“The worst s*** was Vince Neil trying to fight me, and my bodyguards having to sort him out. He turned up with some f****** biker dudes, so they beat the shit out of them as well, ha ha ha!”.
Last year, Andy Taylor revealed that a nuclear drug that he had been taking, has added an extra five years to his life, as he battles prostate cancer.
Taylor was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic cancer back in 2019.
“It can’t see healthy cells”, Taylor said. “It kills stage four cancer in your bones. And so what it’s effectively done is extend my life for five years”.
“I had to get in very, very good health to have this treatment,” he also added.
“So I really took care of myself in a different way. And then after the first round of treatment, I said, ‘If I’m OK, and you guys [his doctors] say I’m OK, is it OK to start work again?’”.
