You may not believe it but The Frames are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year and to commemorate the very special milestone, the Irish lads have announced two concerts.
It might make some of us feel a bit old to think that the band has been around for that long, however we're delighted they're back to perform live.
The two shows are taking place in Dublin and Cork. The Frames are playing Dublin's Iveagh Gardens on Saturday July 4th and then the following week, Saturday July 11th Live at the Marquee in Cork.
The indie band released their first record all the way back in 1992 and all their albums to date have achieved Double Platinum sales status in Ireland.
For their 20th anniversary tour in 2010, the Frames played sold-out concerts at the Olympia, Vicar St. and Whelans.
Tickets go on sale next Thursday January 22nd from the usual outlets and they cost €40 (including booking fee) for the Dublin gig and €35 (including booking fee) for the show in Cork.
