The funeral of Ashling Murphy will take place this morning in Co Offaly.
The 23 year old was attacked and killed while exercising along the Grand Canal last Wednesday.
Teachers and pupils from Coolanarney National School in Blueball, where Ms Murphy went to school, will form a guard of honour.
Gardaí are expecting a large attendance at the funeral for the popular teacher and musician.
