Dublin city residents are protesting again this weekend over proposals to build an 8 storey hotel at Vicar Street.
They’re taking to the streets at 1pm to call for a reduction in the height of the proposed development, a monitoring committee for residents, and structural assessment of surrounding properties before any works begin.
People Before Profit Councillor Tina MacVeigh says there was a strong and determined turn-out at last week’s protest and they’ve decided to ‘go again’ to ensure the community’s voice is heard.
