Garda Hunt Underway After Woman Attacked And Pushed Into Dublin Traffic

A garda hunt has been launched to locate a man who robbed a woman's handbag and then pushed her into the middle of busy Dublin traffic.

The woman was travelling along the Brackenstown Road in Swords at 8pm on Friday night when she was viciously attacked by the man.

The attacker robbed her handbag before pushing her into the middle of the busy road and then running off in the direction of St. Columba's Church.

According to Dublin Live, a garda spokesman said: "Gardaí in Swords Co Dublin are investigating a robbery which occurred at Brackenstown Rd, Swords at 8pm last night, 14/2/20.

"An unknown male grabbed a handbag from a female at this location. No arrests have been made and no injuries sustained."
