Slane Garda station in County Meath will reopen tomorrow morning after two members tested positive for Covid-19.
In a statement, gardai say that as a precaution, additional cleaning has taken place at the station to ensure it is safe to reopen.
The statement adds that An Garda Síochána continues to appeal to all citizens, businesses and organisations to comply with Public Health Guidelines and Regulations.

“The Department of Health are the lead agency for Covid-19 related Regulations and public health guidelines.
An Garda Síochána does not comment on individual members.
As a precaution additional cleaning has taken place at Slane Garda station to ensure its safe reopening tomorrow morning, Tuesday 18th August 2020.
The COVID-19 Pandemic remains a real and present public health crisis and An Garda Síochána continues to appeal to all citizens, businesses and organisations to comply with Public Health Guidelines and Regulations in order to continue to save lives.”
