A Dublin crime gang has been targeted during a 14 million euro cocaine seizure in Co. Laois.
An intelligence led operation was carried out in a number of locations last night.
Gardaí from the Dublin Crime Response Team led this operation yesterday evening, uncovering 182 kilos of cocaine.
kilos of cannabis herb was also seized during raids in Mountmellick in Co. Laois and a number of other locations.
In a follow-up search in west Dublin, 17 kilos of cocaine was confiscated along with €25,000 in cash - leading to a combined drugs haul estimated to be worth 14 million euro.
Eight vehicles along with drugs paraphernalia were also seized.
Gardaí say ''the operation has taken down the main supply network for cocaine and crack cocaine into West Dublin, preventing the drugs from entering communities.''
Three men have been arrested - they can be held for up to seven days.
