Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a shooting in County Clare overnight. Two men were shot in the incident that happened outside a pub in Sixmilebridge.
Two men continue to be treated in hospital after a shooting in County Clare in the early hours of this morning.
The incident happened at around twenty-past-midnight outside a pub in Sixmilebridge village.
Two men – aged 21 and 66 – were found at the scene with gunshot wounds and they were taken to University Hospital Limerick.
Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
No arrests have been made and the scene is currently preserved for forensic and technical examination.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses — with a case conference being held later today.
