A teenage boy aged 15 was arrested by Gardai on suspicion of drug driving in Dublin City. That was after the 15-year-old failed a roadside breath test.
The young lad tested positive for cannabis. Gardai revealed on Twitter that he was under the influence of the drug while behind the wheel of a car.
Gardai took action and stopped the car after noticing the young driver near Dublin Castle and he was taken into custody.
Gardai said in a tweet: "DMR Roads Policing, Dublin Castle, observed car being driven by a 15 year old youth who subsequently failed roadside drug test.
"Arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of cannabis, blood specimen taken. Investigations are continuing."
