An investigation is continuing into the death of a man in Dublin last night. The man in his 20s was stabbed in Mulhuddart.
Gardaí were called to the scene of an incident at Castlecurragh Heath in Mullhuddart, where a man in his 20s was found with stab wounds.
The discovery was made at a house shortly after 6 o’clock yesterday evening – he was treated at the scene by emergency services personnel but was pronounced dead a short time later.
The Office of the State Pathologist has been notified and the Garda Technical Bureau has been reqeuested by investigators.
A man in his 20s has since been arrested in connection with the incident. He remains in custody this morning at Finglas Garda Station.
