Gardai are appealing for witnesses after an 18 year old was seriously assaulted in Dublin yesterday afternoon.
The young man was injured after he left a premises on O'Connell Street between 3.30pm and 4pm.
He was removed to the Mater Hospital where his injuries are described as serious.
An 18 year old suspect who fled the scene was later arrested by Gardai.
He was released without charge from Store Street Garda Station in the early hours of this morning.
