Three people have been rushed to hospital in South Dublin after a life-threatening road traffic collision in Chapelizod late last night.
A driver and passenger of one of the cars were transported to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.
The driver of the second car was transferred to Beaumont Hospital The driver of the second vehicle has incurred injuries that are reported to be serious.
A spokeswoman for gardai said that the crash happened at “Knockmaroon Hill, Chapelizod at approximately 11.30p.m. last night, Friday 26 April.”
“Driver and passenger of one vehicle taken to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown and the driver of the second vehicle was taken to Connolly also but later transferred to Beaumont Hospital where his injuries are serious.
“Investigations ongoing and road currently closed but should reopen by 11am.”
