Gardaí say a prosecution will follow after officers spotted a ''bogus'' tax disc on a parked car.
Officers on patrol in Co. Meath saw the crudely scrawled handwritten disc over the weekend and have since seized the car in question.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, gardaí said: "Gardaí from Meath were on patrol over the weekend when they spotted something peculiar about the tax disc on a parked car. Yeah, the rest explains itself.
"This car was seized and a prosecution will follow."
