Gardaí are continuing to search a house in Dundalk as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Kyran Durnin.
The property was the young boy's family home for a number of years.
Since this morning, Gardaí and forensics have been searching a house on Emer Terrace in Dundalk.
The house is being searched and will be subject of technical and forensic examinations, while a mini excavator has been used to dig up the adjoining garden to the property.
Meanwhile, Gardaí have stressed that the current tenants of the house, are not connected in any way with the investigation.
Kyran was reported missing at the end of August, but following new information, the case was upgraded to murder.
