Gardai are searching a house in County Meath as part of an investigation into a missing woman.
The case of 24-year-old Elizabeth Clarke has now been upgraded to murder.
The mother of two - was last seen in Navan in 2013, having previously lived with her family in Portrane and Bettystown.
Her family reported Elizabeth missing in 2015, and a number of searches were conducted in the years since - including by the Garda Water Unit and Meath River Rescue.
As a result of what Gardai have described as 'extensive enquiries', the investigation has now been upgraded to murder.
A search of a house in Navan is underway, and it's expected it could take up to a number of days.
That operation will be assisted by a forensic archeologist, if it is deemed necessary.
Gardai continue to appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
In particular, they are asking for anyone who may have, for any reason, held back on information in relation to Elizabeth's disappearance to contact them.
In a statement, they said: "Given the time frame of this investigation, gardaí are asking the public that if they have any information in relation to the disappearance and murder of Elizabeth and for some reason held back on information they may have had, to come forward now.
"An Garda Síochána wish to reassure them that they will be treated sensitively."
Anyone with information in relation to the investigation is asked to contact at Navan Garda Station at 046 9036100, the Garda Confidential telephone line 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
