A man has been apprehended following a cocaine seizure worth €145,000 was found in Blanchardstown.
Two kilograms of cocaine were found when Gardaí searched a car at the Sheepmore Estate in Dublin 15 at 4pm yesterday.
A man aged 39 was the only person in the car and was arrested by officers at the scene.
He is presently being held at Blanchardstown garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
The discovery was made as part of an operation carried out by the Garda National Drugs and organised Crime Bureau. Gardaí say that investigations ongoing.
