Gardai warn School children over feud threat

Loading

Two children have been warned about threats to their safety by Gardaí, as part of a Dublin feud.

It comes after their primary school was recently evacuated.

The two children, who are under the age of 12, were reportedly the subject of threats in recent weeks.

The Irish Independent reports an anonymous phone call was made to their Dublin primary school warning they were going to be targeted.

This lead to the school closing and pupils being sent home.

It's believed to be connected to a feud in the south inner city, with their families now served with a Garda Information Message giving them security advice.

They're believed to be among the youngest people ever to be given GIM forms.

In response, Gardaí say they don't confirm or deny any matters relating to the security of an individual.
