Gene Simmons is offering fans the chance to be his roadie for the day.

The former Kiss star, who is heading out on tour in the US next month, is giving fans the chance to be his “personal assistant and band roadie” for the day.

This is part of a number of Experiences being launched by the musician which can be purchased by fans ahead of his US shows. This particular experience is titled, ‘The Ultimate Gene Simmons Experience’.

As part of this experience, fans will have the chance to help with the load-in at the venue, as well as sit in on the show's sound check and hang out with the crew backstage. The lucky fan will also be introduced during the live show, as well as being joined by Simmons for a meal.

However, this will cost, with the experience coming at a hefty price of $12,495 (£9,667), including original ticket price, as well as a bass guitar from a previous Kiss rehearsal.

‘Gene Simmons Bass Experience’

Gene Simmons will perform as many as 26 shows across North America between April and August. It was also confirmed that only one experience per concert would be made available.

Elsewhere, another package which is named, ‘Gene Simmons Bass Experience’, will allow one lucky fan and three friends the chance to meet up with Simmons backstage, as well as take home one of his bass guitars.

These guitars are also signed and personalised for $6,500 (£5,029) for a “non-stage-played” instrument, as well as $12,5000 (£9,671) for an instrument that Simmons had previously used on stage.

Check out the tour dates in full here.

Back in December, Gene Simmons had stated in an interview that nobody aged 20 or younger could name a single song from rock legends Nirvana or Pearl Jam. He stated that between 1958 and 1988, the world saw the likes of Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC, David Bowie, Prince, and Led Zeppelin among others. More on this here.
