Peter Gabriel is rejoining Genesis to take part in a new documentary.
The former Genesis member will join Phil Collins, Tony Banks, Steve Hackett and Mike Rutherford for BBC rockumentary Genesis: Together and Apart.
The programme will chart Genesis’ history from the band’s early days in the late 60s to prog rock in the 70s and their more pop sound of the 80s.
Programme makers say the film reunites all original members of the band for the first time since 1975.
No word on when it’ll be on tv yet.
It’s been a busy 2014 for Peter Gabriel, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist earlier this year. The singer was already in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Genesis, despite not showing up to that induction in 2010.
Gabriel plays The O2 in Dublin on December 10th where he’ll play the biggest solo album of his career: So in its entirety in addition to his hits.
