Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan has shared a music video for the track “Cold Outside”. The song deals with the homeless crisis and is part of a wider campaign to assist Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission.
The song is lifted from McKagan’s solo record “Tenderness” that was dropped earlier this year. Antimusic reports that the video was launched along with a Propeller campaign for the mission.
In a statement, Duff said he could identify with the plight of homeless people, “In my early days, I was in similar situations, so I know what it’s like to not have anyone to turn to and sometimes need a helping hand to get back on my feet.”
“I know many know others in need and I am hoping that, if we come together, we can help make a real difference.” Check out the video below:
