Gorillaz co-founder Jamie Hewlett had announced that a new album from the spritely music heads would be dropped in 2018. Now, a newly launched website has surfaced which suggests that the album is called The Now Now and will see make its debut on June 29th.
Although Gorillaz have yet to publicly recognise the website, there are hints that would seem to link it to the group. According to Exclaim, Posters appeared during the All Points East Festival over the weekend in London containing the phrase ‘NO MORE UNICORNS ANYMORE. That very same phrase recently surfaced in artwork created by Hewlett. As well as this, the website itself features a teaser video in which Gorillaz’s member 2-D is spotted sitting with a guitar.
