Gardaí in Wexford are currently investigating a single vehicle collision which turned fatal this morning at 12.30am.
The collision which occurred on Whitemill Road has been referred to the Garda Ombudsman Commission as a man in his 20s was fatally injured.
The man was injured when the car he was driving lost control and collided with a barrier, and he was later pronounced dead at the scene with his body taken to Wexford Hospital.
Two male passengers were also taken to Wexford Hospital with injuries believed to be serious.

The road remains closed to facilitate an examination by the Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
