Axl Rose and Slash have both been recently skirting around the possibility of working on a new record. Now, guitarist, Richard Fortus has revealed in a new interview that the rockers are going to give it a try.
In a discussion with Favazz of St. Louis’ KSHE95, Fortus was asked about the likelihood of a new album from the group and he replied,
“We’re going to try and do another record and get it out soon…How could it not be? [great] The band is so great right now.”
Then Fortus was asked about the time frame concerning the record, “I think it will happen faster than you think. I sure hope it happens faster than you think.” The axeman suggested a new album could be out by the end of 2019.
“We’re hoping to get one out very soon,”
Fortus also revealed that there could be more touring dependent on how quickly the new music came out. Check out the interview below.
