Irish megastar Andrew ‘Hozier’ Byrne has been forced to cancel a show tonight in London, after coming down with an illness. The singer is reported to have a very bad throat infection and had to cancel his gig at The Forum in London tonight.
Hozier played two other gigs in London, playing The Roundhouse last night and playing The Shepherd’s Bush Empire the night before. A statement was released today with regard to the postponment of the show “Hozier would like to apologise to all those who were due to attend tonight’s concert and for any inconvenience caused, and hopes that everyone is able to make it to the rearranged date.”
The concert is said to be rescheduled for June 30th and all existing tickets will be valid for the new date. Refunds will be issued, from point of purchase, to those unable to attend the new date. Hopefully the Wicklow native will be better in time for his rescheduled London date.
Hozier is set to play Electric Picnic this August and is one of a number big artists set to play at this year festival in Stradbally Co. Laois.
