A Hungarian MEP, notorious for his homophobic stance as part of the Viktor Orban led right-wing Fidesz party has quit after he was caught breaking lockdown to attend a ‘largely male’ orgy with 25 others in Brussels!
Jozsef Szajer, a founding member of Fidesz, resigned abruptly on Sunday after police broke up what they mentioned was an event attended ‘principally by men‘ on Friday night.
He finally admitted being at the party today and provided a full apology, after initally saying the reason for quitting what that he was ”beneath psychological pressure.”
Belgian media reported that he had initially tried to assert diplomatic immunity.
Earlier stories had also said that Szajer tried to flee out of a window and escape down a drainpipe, however he harmed himself and was caught.
Police raided the party at a bar in central Brussels on Friday night, saying they discovered 25 ‘largely bare’ folks together with medicine.
It is believed that every one concerned had been let off with a warning.
Szajer was one of the founding members of the controversial right-wing Viktor Orban’s Fidesz party in 1990, of whom he was parliamentary chief between 1994 and 2002.
He served as vice-president of the party before being elected to the European Parliament in 2004.
Fidesz brazenly opposes equal rights for LGBTI, having previously tried to ensure that solely heterosexual married couples will be capable to undertake youngsters.
