David Bowie’s widowed wife Iman has shared an unseen painting painted by Bowie himself.
The abstract piece of art was painted in 2014 and had only been seen partially in the background of a series of portraits of Bowie by photographer Jimmy King.
The vibrant yellow and blue painting appears to be signed by the music legend who sadly passed away in January of 2016.
Iman shared a picture of the painting sitting on an easel to her social medial, captioning the image #BowieForever.
It is still unclear what the unnamed painting represents though some commenters felt it portrayed a landscape of mountains and roads
In 2021, another one of Bowie’s paintings was bought for only £3 and was sold at auction for over £60,000. The artwork was painted in 1997 as part of a series of 47 portraits Bowie had worked on at the time.
