It is believed that inter-county travel will return on May 10th along with Hairdressers, barbers and personal services set to reopen on the same day.
The Cabinet is due to meet this afternoon to sign off on the plans to reopen most of the country ahead of the summer months.
It is also believed that three different household will be allowed meet outdoors, including in private gardens from May 10th and all non-essential retail will reopen later in the month.
Outdoor dining and beer gardens are not expected to return until June 7th.
