New York indie band Interpol have been trapped on their tour bus for more than 50 hours, after a massive blizzard hit the tri-state area.
The trio were travelling from a gig in Columbus, Ohio on Monday night (November 17th), to their next show in Toronto, Canada, when they hit a freak snow storm.
The group never made it out of the States, as they got stuck in a snowstorm outside Buffalo, New York.
The band cancelled the Canadian concert and explained to fans on their official website what was going on:
“Our bus is trapped in a snowstorm just outside of Buffalo. We haven’t moved our position on the road in over nine hours. Unfortunately, we’ll have to cancel tonight’s concert at the Kool Haus. We were greatly looking forward to the show but the big bad winter has come early this year. We will be informing people of a new date as soon as we can.”
Interpol shared tweets and pictures from their tour bus showing how bad the weather conditions are.

Should the lads make it out of the snow, their next scheduled show is tonight in Montreal.
Interpol are coming to Ireland in 2015, they’re playing three Dublin shows at the Olympia Theatre, fingers crossed they don’t bring the snowstorm with them.
