Gardai in Dublin are continuing to investigate the racist vandalism sprayed on to the Ha'penny Bridge yesterday.

The graffiti has now been replaced with anti-racism messages and support. "Black Dubs you are loved" is among the signs that have been placed on the Ha'penny Bridge today.

The messages of love and support in complete contrast to what was present yesterday.

In the early hours of Thursday morning a racial slur was sprayed on the Ha'Penny Bridge, while a nearby building was tagged with a misspelled message of White Lives Matter.

The graffiti was quickly removed, and this morning people crossing the Liffey were met with flowers and anti-racism messages.

Gardai say the vandalism caused yesterday is being investigated as possible racially motivated incident. No one has been arrested.
