Investigations are continuing in Tallaght where a man in his 50s was killed in an attack last night.
It happened in the Tymon Road North area. A man in his 30s has been arrested.
The scene in the Tymon Road North area remains sealed off this afternoon after a man in his 50s was killed in what Gardai are describing as a 'serious incident'.
It happened at around midnight and the victim was brought to Tallaght hospital where he was later pronounced dead. It's reported the man was hit by a van that left the scene.
A man in his 30s has been arrested and is being questioned in Tallaght Garda station in relation to the incident.
Gardai are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
