INXS have marked the 35th anniversary of their hit ‘Never Tear Us Apart’ by releasing a special behind the scenes look at their music video.
Directed by Richard Lowenstein, this includes rare footage, deleted scenes, as well as interviews with the band’s late frontman Michael Hutchence.
‘Never Tear Us Apart’ featured on INXS’ sixth studio album ‘Kick’, which arrived in 1987. The album also included hits ‘New Sensation’, ‘Mystify’, ‘Need You Tonight’, and ‘Devil Inside’.
In this new video, late singer Michael Hutchence can be heard discussing filming for the track’s music video for ‘Never Tear Us Apart’, which they decided to film in Czechoslovakia during the winter.
“The spirit of the people there is fantastic, that’s what I love, it really makes you appreciate what you have so much”, Hutchence can be heard saying.
