Ireland can make history this evening, and win a place in a first ever Hockey World Cup semi final. The women’s side face India in the first of this evening’s quarter finals in London.
Ireland beat India 1-nil when the sides met last week in the pool stages. That game gets underway at 6 this evening, with Spain awaiting the winners in the semi finals. You can catch the match on RTÉ 2 tonight!
Spain saw off Germany by a goal to nil last night. Tonight’s other quarter final sees the top-ranked side the Netherlands face the tournament hosts, England. That’s underway at 8.15.
