Irish punters will be hoping it becomes a 'Ruby Tuesday' on the opening afternoon of the 2018 Cheltenham festival.

Irish rider, Ruby Walsh will take on the Willie Mullin's trained favourites 'Getabird' and 'Footpad' in the first two races this afternoon.

Walsh will then board 'Faugheen' to take on the heavily backed 'Buveur D'Air' in the day one feature, the Champion Hurdle.

The festival is set to start on the wettest ground in 36 years, however, we have more important things to worry about today.

Peaky Blinders

We want to know how many Irish folk are going to turn up at the racing festival dressed as a replica of the Peaky Blinders?

The TV series has brought about a fashion revival in the men's department and we're curious to know how many lads will be gracing the race course in their Peaky finest this week!

Do you think we're on to something here? If you're copying Tommy and gang - make sure and send us in your snaps!
