They say ‘Good Things Come To Those Who Wait’, and that is certainly the case for the lucky winner of the €9.7m Lotto Jackpot that was bought in Killarney, Co Kerry.
The National Lottery are still waiting to hear from the lucky winner who purchased the winning Quick Pick in Daly’s of SuperValu, Killarney.
Speculation is growing that the lucky winner is local given the current Covid–19 travel restrictions that are in place.
This is the second big win for Daly’s of SuperValu, only four days earlier a €500,000 Euromillions prize ticket was also purchased at the same store!
Speaking about the win, SuperValu Manager Mr McGee said ‘hopefully it is a syndicate winner and will spread the winnings to make life a bit easier for people “‘when we get through this”.
“There’s a good atmosphere, instead of talking about the other thing, we’re talking about that,” he said.
