Jack White has released a trailer for his new documentary, Kneeling At The Anthem DC. This new documentary film will feature previously unseen live footage and White exploring the sights of Washington DC.
The star was joined by director and cameramen Emmett Malloy, who directed The White Stripes documentary Under Great White Northern Lights, during his ‘Boarding House Reach‘ world tour earlier this year.
The trailer sees White performing with his backing band at The Anthem venue in Washington DC. There’s also his surprise gig for the students at Woodrow Wilson High School. A press release states that the film will feature previously unseen live footage, as well as clips of the musician exploring America’s capital city.
Jack White – Kneeling At The Anthem DC will be released on September 21st via Amazon Prime Video. A six-song live EP is set to feature recordings from the DC performance and will arrive on the same date via Amazon Music.
A live version of ‘Connected By Love’ taken from the EP has just been released. Here’s the tracklist for the ‘Jack White – Kneeling At The Anthem DC’ EP is as follows,
