Joan Jett and The Blackhearts have announced an upcoming acoustic album titled ‘Changeup’.
The album will be the singer’s first-ever acoustic record. Featuring 25 tracks, ‘Changeup’ will contain acoustic re-imaginings of some of Jett’s greatest hits, including ‘Bad Reputation’ and ‘Crimson and Clover’.
Jett and The Blackhearts announced the upcoming album, set to release on March 25th via Blackheart Records, alongside an unplugged version of Jett’s 1981 track ‘(I’m Gonna) Run Away’. The track is the second single to be released from the upcoming album, following the release of an acoustic cover of ‘Bad Reputation’ Jett dropped last year.
The forthcoming album also acts as a harbinger for Jett and The Blackhearts’ previously re-scheduled stadium mega-tour alongside Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, and Poison. The revamped tour is set to kick off in June.
