Barbers and hairdressers opened their doors again today after 5 long months of Covid closure.

Joey Tynan got the first haircut in town at the Grafton Barbers, Grafton Street Dublin thanks to PJ Gallagher & Jim McCabe on Morning Glory.

The Clondalkin lad was voted the person most in need to get their mane tamed after a flood of pictures and pleas from desperate lads and a weekend of fever pitched voting on Radio Nova’s website www.nova.ie

There was many unruly heads in the competition including runner up Niall Burke of Balbriggan.

They say the “first cut is the deepest” and the first cut was also a big event with Ireland AM covering the chop live on air as you can watch below.

The Grafton Barbers are now open and taking appointments and you can check out www.graftonbarbers.com to contact your nearest store and book. They have brought in extra staff to cope with demand in all their stores. Walk-ins will be slotted into any cancellation and no show bookings that come available.

Plus just by listening to PJ & Jim all week on Morning Glory you could win a year’s FREE Haircuts: all your haircut needs sorted in a Grafton Barber of your choice from their 47 branches nationwide!
