Johnny Marr And Hans Zimmer Team For New James Bond Movie Score

The 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die starring Daniel Craig in the role of Bond for the 5th consecutive time will be released in April.

In anticipation, the makers of the movie have continued to keep fans updated with the latest details and according to Spin, the producers have announced that Billie Eilish, her brother and songwriting partner Finneas will be recording the title theme for the movie.

Cary Fukunaga, the film’s director will feature an original score by Hans Zimmer and former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr. Zimmer who is regarded as one of Hollywood’s most prolific composers has worked with Marr in the past.

Those projects included scores for Inception and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. They have both performed live together at events including Hans Zimmer: Revealed, a two-night residency at London’s Hammersmith Appolo in 2014.

The film No Time To Die will be in theaters from April 2 in the U.K. and April 10 in the U.S. Marr’s latest album, Call The Comet released in 2018 features the singles  “Hi Hello” and “Spiral Cities.”

In 2019, Zimmer composed the score for Disney’s Lion King remake, after receiving  his Academy Award-winning score for the original Lion King film in 1994.
