Jon Bon Jovi has confirmed that his son Jake Bongiovi and Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown have got married.
The couple announced their engagement in April last year, following two years of dating, after Bongiovi shared a photo of the pair with Brown wearing an engagement ring.
"I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all", Brown wrote at the time. See that here.
Appearing on the BBC's The One Show, Jon Bon Jovi confirmed that the couple tied the knot in a very small ceremony over the weekend.
"They are great, they are absolutely fantastic", Bon Jovi said. "It was a very small, family wedding and the bride looked gorgeous and Jake is happy as can be. It’s true".
Jake Bongiovi's parents are Dorotha Hurley and Jon Bon Jovi, who is of course renowned as being the frontman of Bon Jovi, known for hits including You Give Love A Bad Name, and Living On A Prayer.
Melissa Bobby Brown came to prominence starring as Eleven in Netflix Sci-Fi series, Stranger Things. She also starred in the Enola Holmes films.
Ahead of the nuptials, Millie Bobby Brown revealed that her then fiancé's father would not be singing at this wedding, saying that "the man needs a break".
“I feel like that’s asking me to go and like, do a full-on play for everyone”, the actress said.
“I think the man needs a break, he doesn’t stop! He’s always doing tennis or singing lessons”, Brown claimed. “I think he needs a break, maybe it’s a three-hour break!”.
She also said that Jake was "very involved" in the wedding planning.
“He’s very helpful during the whole process. I’ve never felt alone in it, which is very nice. I’m always like, ‘Is this a good idea, is this a good idea?’ But ultimately, it’s just a very intimate day for the both of us and we’re both very excited”.
